Role Overview

As an IoT Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing embedded firmware, integrating sensors, and enabling Wi-Fi communication. You’ll work closely with hardware and cloud teams, contributing across the entire IoT development cycle — from prototyping to deployment and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded C firmware for ESP8266/ESP32 platforms.
• Interface with a variety of sensors (IR, temperature, proximity, humidity, etc.).
• Implement Wi-Fi-based data transfer using TCP/IP, HTTP, or MQTT protocols.
• Perform hardware debugging, schematic interpretation, and support PCB bring-up.
• Set up and manage InfluxDB + Grafana dashboards for real-time data monitoring.
• Assist in designing and deploying OTA update mechanisms for IoT devices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for full-stack IoT integration.
• Document code, hardware integration steps, and testing procedures.

Required Qualifications

• B.E. / Diploma in Electronics and Communication (ECE) or Electrical and Electronics (EEE).
• Strong proficiency in embedded C programming.
• Experience with ESP8266, ESP32, and associated development tools (ESP-IDF or Arduino).
• Understanding of Wi-Fi networking and embedded communication stacks.
• Hands-on experience with integrating sensors and reading analog/digital inputs.
• Basic hardware knowledge – schematic reading, multimeter/oscilloscope use, soldering, etc.

Preferred / Bonus Skills

• Working knowledge of Grafana and InfluxDB.
• Experience with MQTT, HTTP REST APIs, and secure IoT communication.
• Familiarity with OTA update mechanisms and firmware versioning.
• Exposure to cloud IoT platforms like AWS IoT, Azure IoT, or Firebase.
• Git or other version control experience.

Experience & Compensation

Interns ( 0 – 1 year)                 : ₹10,000 – ₹15,000/month stipend

Experienced (1–2 years)      : ₹4.5 – 6 LPA
